READY is now reviewing Expressions of Interest for the next cohort of the ለከባድ በሽታ ወረርሽኝ ምላሽ የተግባር ዝግጁነት ስልጠና ፕሮግራም, scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2022.
The Operational Readiness Training Program is a collaborative and bespoke training program to strengthen NGOs’ operational capacity to respond to current and future major disease outbreaks in humanitarian settings, through a blended and co-designed learning approach. Designed for and specifically targeting national NGOs or small international NGOs, the training program includes:
- Organizational capacity and risk assessment; foundational learning sessions (virtual)
- One-day digital Outbreak Readiness and response simulation (in-person)
- Four days of customized training sessions and technical support (in-person)
- Dedicated mentorship and technical support (virtual)
Is there a cost for this training program?
While there is no training program fee, there will be time and staff engagement expected from selected organizations to plan and execute the training program. READY will discuss these expected commitments with organizations during the selection process.
