The Child Protection in Outbreaks: Adapting child protection programming in infectious disease outbreaks (Mini-Guide 1) is designed primarily for child protection practitioners and the social service workforce in settings impacted by infectious disease outbreaks. It provides an overview of why and how to adapt national and community-level child protection interventions during outbreaks.
The focus is on:

- Group Activities
- Child Participation
Because outbreaks can create opportunities to strengthen systems, this Mini-Guide also offers suggestions on how child protection adaptations can lead to better outcomes for children and their caregivers in the long-term.
